We have had a lovely time in Year 4 so far this half term. The children did an excellent class worship on Friday. They worked in groups to write and talk about different aspects of Roman life – all their own words. We then sang a 3 part song called ‘Building’ that related well to our learning of Roman buildings. The children did an excellent job singing in 3 parts, which can be very challenging.
We have also had a visit from Miss. Hill who spoke to us about healthy eating, the importance of drinking lots of liquid and of exercising. She had lots of fun activities for us to learn from.
The children also had lovely weather this week for their gardening at Greenway and around the school. Whilst the other children stayed in class and continued their Roman buildings, which are beginning to take shape! All of this learning involves Maths, Science, Art and Design and lots of hard work!
